Ideal Brewing Temperature

Hot Brewing:  Best brewed for 5-10 minutes at a temperature of 100°C/212°F, Herbs and Fruit tisanes do not get bitter the longer you brew; they will develop more full flavour. We recommend sugar or simple syrup to lift the flavour profile even more, but not recommend further additions, like milk. This organic explosion of flavour is delicious served with ice too. For iced tea, please brew the tea stronger, as the ice will dilute it.

Cold Brewing: A good starting point is 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf tea/1 tea bag per cup of water (i.e., 1 gram: 100 ml). Adjust according to your personal taste.

** Based on years of in-store tasting observations, the following tea bag ratios are more popular with 1 liter of water**

For pure teas such as black tea and oolong tea: use 2 tea bags; for other teas such as green tea, flower tea, herbal tea, and fruity black tea, use 3 tea bags to better highlight their floral and fruity aromas.

Expiry: For the best flavor, consume your cold brew tea within 3-4 days when refrigerated. Beyond that, flavors may degrade, and bacterial growth may occur.
